Athens-based filmmaker Jason Miller traveled to the rainforest of Ecuador in 2010 to conduct a series of interviews with philosophers, coffee farmers, roasters, and ecologists to shine light on how Slowness can improve the coffee industry from seed to cup. Brought forth by the Norwegian organization Slow Coffee, this film documents a special connetion between Athens' 1000 Faces Coffee and the Ecuador's Cafe Choco Andes alliance of coffee farmers. This short film brings to light the revolutionary power that art and transparency can have on an otherwise industrialized or commodity-based sector of our daily consumables.
